Personally, the Cookie Dough Frappuccino is my favorite drink from Starbucks, secret menu or not. It is sweet, contains my favorite flavor cinnamon and definitely satisfies you. Even though it is my favorite, I do not order it every single time because it is somewhat of a pain for the baristas to make it. It isn't all that difficult to make however it does take quite a bit longer to make than the average Starbucks beverage.

The Penny Pincher | Starbucks

Do you love both Starbucks Coffee AND saving money? Then you should probably order The Penny Pincher the next time you visit Starbucks. The Penny Pincher is a double-shot of espresso that is poured over a small cup of ice. The more ice you use, the more watered down the flavor will be. If you like your espresso with a bold flavor, order The Penny Pincher over just one piece of ice.

If you need to sweeten the flavor a little bit, be sure to use one or two packets of the brown sugar. The sugar crystals help expedite the breaking down of the ice and helps mix the whole drink together in a delicious fashion. Artificial sweeteners don't mix well with straight espresso and ice so make sure to use real sugar.

With The Penny Pincher, not only you do you get you coffee caffeine fix but you also save a little bit of money. I don't think anybody in the world has ever complained about saving money. Another way to save money at Starbucks is by ordering a drink with the size "short." The "short" size is just smaller and cheaper than the "tall" size and allows you to save money while still getting your caffeine fix.

Biscotti Frappuccino | Starbucks

Starbucks' Biscotti Frappuccino Recipe:

  • Begin with a standard frappuccino.
  • Purchase or bring a Biscotti cookie with you. At some Starbucks locations, Biscotti's are available for sale.
  • Ask your barista to blend the cookie into the frappuccino.
  • Enjoy!

Warning: baristas are typically very happy to accommodate your drink requests but please be aware of how busy the Starbucks is when you order the Biscotti Frappuccino. Having to blend a Biscotti into a frappuccino will take the barista an extra 1-2 minutes. If the Starbucks is packed with a line out the door, it is best to not order the Biscotti Frap as it will annoy both the barista and your fellow customers.

A puppy enjoying a puppuccino!

This pooch is definitely enjoying some Starbucks for dogs!
In our opinion, any sweet treat for a dog should be free whenever its owner buys something but it's up to the discretion of each location. Regardless if you do have to pay a small price, your dog won't enjoy it any less and to most dog owners that is worth a small price. If you're worried about having to pay for it, be sure to ask "how much is a puppuccino?" when you are placing your Starbucks order. The good news about this item is that you don't have to go to Starbucks to get a puppucino, you can create them at home with your own bottle of whipped cream! Check out the comments below to read about other's experiences ordering puppuccinos and what the puppuccino cost was if it wasn't free.
